Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center Calls on Community to Help Restock
Food Pantry and Serve Thousands of Hot Dinners This
Thanksgiving — “No One Should Be Hungry, Period.”
Denver, CO — November 5, 2025 — Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center is issuing an urgent call for food
donations and volunteers to meet the growing demand for meals this holiday season. As food insecurity
continues to rise across the Denver Metro Area, the Center is preparing to serve thousands of free hot
dinners on Thanksgiving Day while restocking its community pantry to support families well beyond the
holidays.
For decades, Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center has been a cornerstone of compassion and service in
Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood. Its guiding principle, “No One Should Be Hungry, Period,”
continues to inspire community action — from daily meal assistance and HIV education to large-scale
holiday outreach.
“Thanksgiving is about more than food — it’s about family and community,” said Brother Jeff, founder
and director of Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center. “We’re inviting everyone to give what they can — a can of
food, an hour of service, or a donation to feed a neighbor. Together, we can ensure no one is left
behind this holiday season.”
Thanksgiving Day Hot Dinner Distribution
This year, Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center will serve thousands of free, freshly prepared hot dinners on
Thanksgiving Day to families, elders, and neighbors in need. Volunteers are needed for meal prep,
packaging, delivery, and cleanup.
