Colorado Nurse License Plates Now Available... Supports Nurses Education

We are elated to announce, that after many long months, the Colorado Nurse License Plate spearheaded by CCBN member Jennifer Allen-Thomas RN that honors Colorado’s nurses and helps support Colorado Nursing students is finally available for public purchase!

Colorado Nurses Foundation President Margaret Mulhall, RN announced in a press release June 28, 2022 that “… the long-awaited Colorado Nurse License Plate is now available. Building on work started by Jennifer Allen-Thomas, RN, the Colorado Nurses Foundation (501c3 organization), along with the Colorado Nurses Association, worked with House Representatives Kyle Mullica and Daneya Esgar to bring a Colorado Nurses license plate to Colorado… The plate was designed by artist Melanie Simonet, who provided her services at no charge as a gift to nursing in Colorado.”

For a $50 donation, the public can support CO nurses and sport the new license plate that shows their support. All proceeds from the license plates go equally to scholarships for underrepresented nurses and Nursing students through the Colorado Council of Black Nurses Inc, Denver Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, Philippine Nurses Association of Colorado, and the Colorado Nurses Foundation Jennifer Allen-Thomas Scholarship.
