- Evonne Eze

Hello, my name is Evonne Eze I am currently a nursing student and would like to thank CCBN and its donors for the financial support to pay for college and supply’s. I also would like to thank CCBN for the mentorsing from the many outstanding knowledgeable nurses. I am one step closer to my dreams.

Being a member of CCBN has helped me connect with awesome people in the healthcare industry within the organization as well as outside the organization. CCBN has helped me with deciding the area of nursing I would love to pursue as well as encouraged me to further my education and just not stopping with a BSN.

I recently did a nursing project in the area of mental health involving African Americas and minority students which has pursued my area of studies into the mental health field. To provide the awareness and recognition to others like me of what mental health looks like.

Being apart of CCBN I have gained so much wealth of knowledge that I am able to pass on to the community as well as to other current nursing students. I am apart of something that is bigger than me and it feels great to be able to contribute.

I currently have not been in any situation negatively impacting healthcare, but I do know if and when I do I can count on CCBN to help me navigate through it.

Thank you CCBN for being here for those like me and others as a place we can call home for mentorship and support. I am glad I can be apart of the change we wish to see in the world.

CCBN Scholars are not only scholarship recipients, we are also members. I give back to the organization by posting job openings through the Employment Section of the Professional Development Department.
